Climate Change Technical Assistance Program / Strategic Actions Supporting Agriculture and Irrigation: The overall objective of this consultancy is to contribute strengthening the capacity of the Government of Zimbabwe to integrate climate change considerations into the planning, design and implementation of development activities in the agriculture sector. The focus is on filling critical knowledge gaps on agro-ecological zoning, irrigation and livestock and on turning existing knowledge into concrete plans for action to be financed by both climate and development finance mechanisms, including new financing instruments such as the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
